Obsession Sport Fishing welcomes you to beautiful Homer, Alaska. Homer is a small maritime community located on the shores of Kachemak Bay and 220 miles south of Anchorage. Homer is known as the Halibut fishing capital of the world for good reason. Halibut can exceed 300 pounds and over the years our clients have reeled up some great catches. Whether you are fishing for the first time or are an experienced angler, we are sure you will enjoy fishing halibut or salmon aboard the “Solitude”.
Obsession Sport Fishing is owned and operated by Larry and Lisa Croft. Our charter vessel is a 6 passenger, 38 foot Uniflite. Captain Larry has over 10 years experience halibut and salmon fishing in Alaskan waters and takes pride in keeping the “Solitude” in the best condition possible. We are voluntary members in a Coast Guard 5 star safety program and the “Solitude” carries top quality equipment including a 8 person self inflating life raft.

We also offer long-range 2 to 5 day halibut fishing, salmon or salmon / halibut combo charters and Spring Black Bear hunting.
